guilty pleasures
Ima sure everyones's got some bands and songs and songs and bands they love that are cool as the mazzles' shazzle. They rock ...everybody
knows it and if they don't ...yr that much cooler because you do. Then there are those bands and
"those songs" that by all means you should not be loving and rocking out to, and would die if anyone heard you jamming away in your car or
...in the shower?...whatever...
everynow and again I get suckerpunched by some band and some song that by all means...anyone who knows me would go...'what the hell are you
listening to?...do you like this? You've got to be kidding!!!
yeah...ummm...I ...kinda do ...it's tough and you have to suck
it up, but deep down inside you love it to death and however mortifying it may be...it's the godawful truth...
... these my friends are guilty pleasures... it could be Digital Underground's 'the humpy dance' or any number of Journey songs...
Strawberry Alarm Clock's 'Incense and peppermints' or Kenny Roger's...umm I don't know ANY kenny Rogers!!! I swear...not even
'know when to hold em'...so yeah... prepare to come forth and confesss... you'll feel a little less guilty and a little more...
hmm' ...ill prepared to get teased....

...I already confessed not too long ago to being suckerpunched by Britney's 'Toxic' and went to great lengths to defend my dastardly
love for that song, ...
as well recently...I ...ummm...have really taken a liking to...maroon 5's 'this love'...man I should be ashamed of myself...by all
means they are a 'boy band' "playing their own instruments", but this song is...ahhhh man...too catchy...

...yes, I think we all have songs we would rather not admit to liking. Ok, my
favorite is super cheesey but I will bust out into song and dance every time I hear it.
The whole theatrical rock opera musical of:
"Jesus Christ Superstar"......This has been a favorite of mine since I was 3 years old when my Mom took me to the movie theater. The guitars
and music are so cool and creepy! I know all the words and rock out everytime I hear it...my favorite is the 1973 movie cast recording...yes, I'm
a goober.
Another...hahaha...is "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band", with The BeeGee's and Peter Frampton singing. Oh I love it...and
the movie is so trippy, funny and 70's!!!!
Yeah, alot of times when I'm cleaning the house I'll put this kind of cheesey stuff on because I can sing along with it while I
work.......:duh:

I usually don't feel guilty about anything musically, except for this unexplained 2-month obsession with Sheryl Crow a few years back. :o

body...with the chicks doin' the 'talk to me boy' call and response... I am so totally ...uggggh...fight it fight it...it's all
wacko jackos fault... blame it on Thriller...

...I mean it's the songs that you question whether or not you should still be itching to turn it up when it comes on like...RATT's
'round and round'...which uhh, by the way *confession*...rules
and... Chaka Khan's ..."I feel for you"... oh my god... do I have a weakness for that song... there is something the 80's did to
me that just... I'm almost powerless against the dancey-ness and the technology... a lot of the sampler dance stuff just kills it... granted I
will fully 'fess to that, but ummm ...aaaaahhh... I just get suckerpunched left and right at times... and they are just that... suckerpunches...
pass the waterbottle and the vasoline...

Josie Cotton! I loved her in Valley Girl and just think she was the cutest little thing in it! "Johnny are you Queer?"...hahaha....some of
the old hair metal comes on and makes me laugh and sing along...whoa...and there were alot of cheesey ones!
