:o OH MY GOODINESS! Biscuits looks just like my little Lucca! She's the little adopted girl I saved from the puppy mill.....I just wanna hug her and kiss her.....her soft little fuzzy belly...awwww.... Now my boy maltese Rocky....whoa...what a hand full he is...looks more like a Bischon Frise, but he's a pure breed maltese with papers. He's a typical boy...wild and insane....full of energy and has the highest pitch bark....drives me crazy. But my little Lucca....I got her off an website from an organization in Nebraska called Hearts United...HUA.org

It's a sanctuary for abused animals....before they recued her she was kept in a cage, used for breeding, debarked (horrible).....oh the horror stories...her photo is still on the website with my name saying I adopted her...

this is a picture of my little princess when they saved her....she cleans up beautifully and I'll try and post a recent photo of her. She now has a velvet pillow to lay on all the time...lotsa food and love...spoiled rotten..... It's funny the girl who was her buddy was alos named Michelle..it was fate for me to adopt her.

Prisoners of Greed


These dogs were all rescued from a Prison of Horrors owned by Arthur and Starla Snider in McGrew, Nebraska. The address used on the court documents is PO Box 67 Lisco, NE 69148. According to the press accounts, when the Sniders moved away they left dogs behind. There were Yorkies and Maltese. The only food they left was horse food for the tiny dogs. We are told that they took 24 dogs. with them. The sheriff seized the dogs that were left behind and charged the Snider's with abandonment. They signed over ownership of the dogs. There were cages stacked on top of each other in a trailer. The dogs are in terrible condition - some of the worst we have ever seen. They clearly suffered serious abuse. They have all be debarked. People at auctions in the Midwest have promoted bebarking at several auctions last year. The millers are told that the cheap and easy way to do it is ram a steel rod down the dogs' throats to rupture the vocal cords. Many of these dogs have broken jaws that we assume occurred during the debarking process.

Awwwww..Good for you, Michelle!! I think everyone should look into rescuing animals if they want pets..Look at the life she has with you now! :D

that so sad.....if you ever happen to hunt them down let me know I'd ram a rod up their asses, but i'd also ram one down their throats so I can try to "de-bark" them and then leave them with only horse food to eat....sons of bitches
On a happier note, that's so great that you adopted, if i didn't live in apartments I'd adopt some doggies.

I don't understand how people can be so cruel to animals..Or to think it's funny when they see a dead animal on the side of the road..Fucking bastards..After our game last week, my sister and I witnessed a kitty get hit and the driver just took off..The cat was still alive, but it was freaking out..We ran over to it and put a towel over it so try to sooth it..We called 911 cuz we didn't know what to do..Oi..Some chicks from the team stopped and had us follow them to an emergency vet that they knew of..It was dead by the time it got there.. It's just so sad when an animal dies..They just seem so innocent..

I also hate when people put dogs to sleep cuz they bit someone..Or there was a case in San Bernadino I think where a wildcat attacked some lady on her bike and they were going to kill it!!! Why??? It was in the wilderness!!! The lady was intruding on it's land!!! Man..I hate humans..

I think the best way to support abused animals is to (on occasion) dontate money to the ASPCA. They are a great association, and they take criminal action to cruel animal owners. The other association that I constantly give money to is The Humane Society. They are awesome!!!
Another thing is to seek out your local Animal control, or ASPCA, or Humane Society and just volunteer. My fiancee volunteers at the Spartenburg Humane Society, and he loves it. I volunteer at the Miami Animal Control.
But I think these organizations are awesome, and we need to keep supporting them!
