Just wondered if anyone like !!! (pronounced chkchkchk) because I am digging their new album Louden Up Now.....

well it just so happens that the teaser I bought 3 weeks ago is currently killing it on my hi fi.

I wanted to listen to !!! last Saturday, but the album was released on Monday... then I had no time so far this week. oh well, it's hard to ask for 'that band with the three exclamation marks' they all laugh at you...

the album I bought on 2xlp is really cool and the cd apparently comes with a bonus...that I think is the disc version of the ep I got...the ep is damn fine little mix...

if you have an idea that you like them...you should also check out some of their mates... Out Hud... their record is really cool too...very similar, but you know I think they rubbed off on each other...

...m'k...so I finally figured out just what 'it is' about them...they totally synthesized the essence of the Clash and made a record totally made for boomboxes carried over your shoulder circa 80's London Calling, Rock the Casbah...it's all there except the digital watch alarm sound...all the beats and percussion and the attitude...and the politics are squelched quite a bit more...
it gets better and better now that its been rockin in my car, but thats what Ima hearing...shaping the sound of my summer...especially 'pardon my freedom'..."llike I give a shhhit...like I give a ffffuk...like I give a mother ffffn' shhh"...oh and m'fn Krazee...awww yeahhh...

well that figures...they were never a fav of mine anyway...between things I won't mention and their ridiculous liberal views they get on my nerves. The new song and video is funny though...playing basketball as Spock is hilarious. Adams voice is so whiney and annoying...I want to put his head in a vice grip! He looks like Seth Green in their new video...or is it Seth Green...maybe they're related.... wouldn't suprise me. They're actually playing in DC tonight....eesh. I wouldn't buy one of their albums......
