Chula Vista

Wow...
First i watched Juliette & the Licks at 1:30, which was awesome! She put the mic in her mouth, Just like Dirty Ho! then i headed over to the Maurice stage where Ima Robot was setting up. All i can say is that they rocked. Alex at one point walked around the stage with his eyes closed, bumping into Timmy and Justin. he then humped a speaker  and climbed on 2 stacked speakers, and swung on the tent support...so fun. After that i got all their aoutographs being the first time i have seen them. They were really cool . then came the Sounds. I was so close to the damn speaker my ears felt like they were going to bleed. They finished at 4 so i headed home after with a bad sunburn on my face. I am planning to go see them at Sunset junction... they got me hooked!

So you liked Juliette, huh? She's cool..I dig their sounds too..But don't EVER compare her to that dirty ho Dirty Ho again..:ticking::)

Huzzah!!

hahaha sorry poobs  but she did do the mic thing.
And there was a good amount of people there, ample.

I didnt hang with Happy at all because i dont really know what she looks like, plus im the shyest guy ever.

but i had fun for the most part. I bought a green Ima T-shirt... the girl working at the merch table was a suicide girl. I didnt get any free stuff though. the only thing i saw free was sunblock which i should have taken!

HEY I just got home, lurker you bastard, I wanted to post first. Lurker you are too shy... I was right next to you at some point because I was at the boot with them as long as the were there (haha, yeah I’m that lame)
I was in the gray homemade Ima Robot shirt. Black hair, blue eyes crazy dorky thing.
I'm lazy so Im posting what I wrote before. Might re say a few things lurker did, oh well....

Ok, ok all I Autumn is back from the not so great warped tour, after seeing the very great Ima robot. They played at 2:30 on the largest side stage. No main stage. Oh man, set list is a blur, this is not in order and sorry if it was wrong. I think the sun hurt my brain so sorry, haha.
Song # 1, STD Dance, Dynomite, Lets Talk Turkey, 12=3, Black Jetta’s, Here comes the bombs… (Darn ½ an hour sets)
Alex climbing the speakers hanging on the rafters, unzipping zippers,…(and much more of the robot greatness) Short Sweet and to the point. I didn’t see a lot of movement from the crowd, a few were. Put on a good show for a pretty much emotionless crowd. But hey at least they stayed and listened without being rude.
Sadly I was hoping for it to quench my thrust to see Ima play live for at least a week. However it HIGHLY increased my ima cravings (you just can’t get enough)

Saw Ima Robot after. They loved my homemade “Ima bitch for you” shirt, and ima robot painted nails (yellow and blue robots). Took photos (they took some of me as well). Hope to develop mine soon. It was great talking to them all again. Scott's girlfriend rocks, meet her for the first time. Said hi to Tim's gal. The boys were super great to me as always. It’s always great to see them and bother them with my pictures, and so on. I always have way too much to say, but it‘s always great to talk with the boys. Blah blah blah and much more…
Other bands seen were---- Local buds the Q, (and Ember Sky but they weren’t playing) Anti-Flag, Juliette & the Licks, The Red West… (And a bunch of other)
I missed the sounds, don't know how but did. L

Tired now, sorry it wasn’t very detailed (yeah compulsive detail disorder)… GOODNIGHT, the sun hurts !!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(did I say to much, sorry way to happy just saw IMA)

damn! everyone must have forgot their sunblock that day......but I'm sure seeing them was worth it. Do you have a picture of your homemade Ima shirt? I just made a cool ass Adam & the Ants shirt and jeans....I'll be putting them up on Ebay in a couple of days.
I wonder if I could do an Ima dress or something? hmmmm', would they get mad or could I get in trouble for any copyright stuff? I've been hand painting things on to clothes with fabric paint and such...so it's all durable and washable. Anyone have any suggestions or ideas about this?

No i put on TONS of sunblock. I didn't get sun burned to bad becasue I stayed in the shade a lot as well. But I hate the sun, it hurts, I don't go out in it a lot, haha
I took photo's of my shirt but won't have them for a while. darn that no digital camra curse. Ima loves it when people make stuff, but I don't know about selling them. But you could make some orginal Ima related art as well ???

I will have photo's of my shirt and so on, and Ima live and so on. But not yet kids sorry :D

this is mixed items I have on Ebay right now...some are reconstucted vintage I did or just clothes/items in general.....I've been working on some original things to put up...so hopefully by this weekend I'll have more stuff up...now I'm working on the Adam and the Ants thing......:duh:

and before anyone asks....No, the AFI shirt was not mine, I found it at the local thrift shop, reconstructed it and for some reason that band sells some serious DIY tops.
