Wholly shit!! I just remembered I got laid off in August of 2001, because our company was moving a lot of manufacturing out of the country.  One month before all hell broke loose. Luckily, I had a friend offer me a
position. Now I have to reexamine that whole scenario.

Yea man, it was all sooo bad out there. Summer of 2001 was pretty bad... but then 9/11 happened and it got worse!
I was pretty much knocked out of a job for about a year, before I picked up a bunch of nonsense temp / data entry crap. Basically, forced me back
into school. I guess that's one good thing that came out of Bush's presidency.   |
