You guys are SOOOOO lucky! My mom & dad split when I was 3 months old. My mom found out that my dad had been cheating on her for a year. She was just his "crazy roommate" (don't know what I was). She kicked him out and started law school three weeks later. She never asked him for a dime in child support. She just wanted him to be a loving dad to me, even if he wasn't in the picture much. I know my dad loves me and does all he can. I'm so glad my mom didn't try to turn me against him. & hey - that's what happened! and we all have a good life. (Although, in my secret fantasies, every little girl wishes her mommy and daddy to be together and there for HER, forever) . Then there's the reality check. Anyone married for ten years plus is ever so impressive to me!

My parents have been together for 20 years. I'm quite thankful for that. They're awesome.
