Aye aye!

i´ve cauterized my eye through using a new contact lens cleaning liquid (hydrogen peroxide was in it!) and on the package it had said in TINY letters on how you shouldn´t get it in your eyes but wash the lenses before putting them back in. so i had to wear (and still have when going outside) an eyepatch for 3 days and every time a kid would spot me it would ask his Dad why that girl over there was dressing up as pirate. i could get use to that eyepatch...though it´s not as nice as Ellen´s ...

hah, that's cool, I want to have an eye patch.
I have to get glasses soon. I don't know if I should get glasses or contact lenses instead.

me, too. i´ve had them ever since i was 16 and do get on fine with them. they´re soft lenses....easier to get on with than the hard ones. and the hard ones tend to break more often when you take `em out and back in. also had had glasses for a couple of years ....god, some people do look good with glasses but i´ve definately not been among them. so i didn´t wear them and persuaded my parents to get me lenses through that....

(btw. i just noticed there´s an Elle Driver fan club out there, scary....) http://www.insomniac-dreams.net/elle/

a "salbe" ....gee, i don´t have it with me at the office today. and i dunno its name by heart. (which always freaks doctors out, eh? when i go to my optometrist and tell him i need to order these eye drops again he goes like: "What name?" and i´m just like shrugging my shoulders and he goes like "YOU`VE HAD THEM FOR SUCH A LONG TIME AND DUNNO THEIR NAME?" ...alas by now i can remember at least the name of my birth controll pill ...which is more essential.

and it wasn´t a "cool" incident ....i could have errm, lost my left eye....well, its eye power at least. erosions? no, it just started burning like mad (which made me shut my eyes whereas i had to get the lens back out!) and was all blood-shot.

when I was a kid I had to have my left eye adjusted a lot.
So I had to wear an eyepatch a lot.
I was the coolest kid in school.
even if the teachers treated me like I was in special ED.
I'm like "i'm deformed not stupid" , lol
but now my eye is better and works normal so I guess it was worth the short time in elme. school.

I love pirates.
My freinds and I evented pirate day. where we dress up once a year as pirates and "party". day full of public sceens and bad pirate jokes.
This year I think I'm going as a pirate robot. better start my costume now, eeek!
