I'm pretty new to this board so I thought I'd like to make my very 1st post on this board with a custom cartoon I did of the band.

I hope you guyz like...cuz I had fun making it.



Here's a little story about this cartoon...I was gonna actually make a T-shirt outta of it for the Roxy show...but wasn't able to finish it on time. Oh well...there's always next time. I told all the band members after the show that I did a cartoon of them but I didn't have anything to show them. So...hopefully they will see it on this board....if not I have all you Ima Robot fans to share it with.

Really cool work! Totally something you'd expect to see on the Ima Robot lunchbox for sale at the merch table alongside the Ima Robot ski masks.

So are you going to make a t-shirt with it? We've been looking for a design for an imarobot.net shirt, hint hint...

so good. the background is damn funky too! i love it. is there a policy that states i cant blag that and put it on a t-shirt?

I would watch out for Hanna Barbera poaching the image and developing a cartoon about five crime-fighting postpunks.

I think that would make a very nice t-shirt!

Maybe grandma can take it to her needle-point group or quilting work-shop and do some magic with it!

oh my god, that is so awesome I'm almost speechless. Out of control, man, ...it reminds me of old school heat press design days at the mall or at a flea market. I had a t-shirt with Jesus on the front and E.T. on the back (purple/mysterious of course). I also had a DeVo freedom of choice t-shirt with "Foxy Lady" on the back...
But this is like that Micheal Jackson "Thriller" design I got put on a baseball jersey with black checkerboard sleeves...the Thriller part was hot pink and it was so outrageous, I was just about afraid to wear it because it was too awesome.
Ima-gine that. I'm getting similar vibrations from this. May be an excellent lunchbox or beenie hat, IMA RObot clock or diaper deck cozy (hahaha, man I kill me...which on doesn't belong?).
Next T-shirt design? ...and your begging for the song #1 video to appear on Cartoon Network....

Art1ss, you need to weigh in here with your opinion. What do you say to a patch or a decal that people can iron on or sew to whatever they want? And how long did it take you to come up with that? It captures the band so well. You might need to do a version 2.0 with Scott Devours!

First of all...Thanx for all the kind responses to my cartoon. Wow...I never imagine my design could be on a lunch box...when I look back at it...I can see where you guyz are coming from.

As for a second version...that's already in the works. I just need pictures of Scott... cuz I don't remember what he looked like. I don't have a photographic memory...I'm only human.

So...if you can tell where I can find pictures of Scott??? So...I have sumthin' to refer to on my next design.

To let you guyz know...I only do cartoons of bands I really like and have the potential of being sumthin' big. So...you guyz havn't seen the last of me.

Art1SS, I can do decals for about .25 each, let me know if you're okay with this and if you can maybe email me an uncompressed version of the graphic.

Sounds like you're making a sales pitch to ART1SSS! .Net will pay for the decals and give them away via the draconian distribution system?

Yeah...You have my blessing to make decals out of my cartoon...but there are a few kinks I need to finish with the design before I send it to you. So you guyz have to be very patient.

nah, i havent done it yet, i just wanted to know what artisss would say . i would put it on a black t-shirt, but for now, i think ill wait.

i love the idea, of .net doing a t-shirt with the design. i would definaltey buy one, as would many!

I love the design! I hope someone makes t-shirts out of it. The design reminds me of the old "Charlie's Angels" logo or something. Love the colors!!! Keep us posted as to what will happen with it!
