I wasn'y trying to sound like I was soliciting. I just think it's a great movie and that some people here would appreciate it. It's hard to know when stuff like this comes out because they don't really advertise it. So think whatever you want.

Wow, what happened to this thread -- all I did was bring up a movie. The Yoda pic does make sense though if you think about how Yoda talks.

At least check out the trailer for The Nomi Song, you'll thank me. The guy was pretty much the king of the NYC new wave scene.

it definately is a great movie, you´re right......also nice for checking the early vaudeville underground new wave scene thing. and makes me yawn on today´s scene where nothing that original is happening no more. just rip-offs, re-interpretations and dugging out old corpses.

I don't really care about the "scenes" people are in. I get annoyed when people make a big deal about them because I've heard it so many times.

it still can be found when carefully looked after in all the places you´d expect it the least....alas alas in Munich there doesn´t seem to be one. i first thought the art school people here would be but then again they aren´t. too commercial.

the greatest music i´ve heard is all underground...catch the beast, lock it into a record studio and destroy it all. it has to be left in the jungle, it was to be raw, wild and free. (i think)
