I'm supposed to be studying for finals, but my head just isn't in it! Any suggestions from you studious peeps to get my ass back on track??(And don't say to stay off of here cuz I just can't help myself sometimes!)

There comes a point for me when I panic and begin to cram furiously for the test. Usually that's 30 hours or so before the appointed time. I find I actually concentrate better at that point.

When I absolutely have to buckle down, though, and study way in advance, I buy a used CD and pop it in the stereo, then treat the study time as "relaxing time." Mentally I have to get over the idea that I'm doing work. Back when I was still running, I would go out and do like two hours solid and get tired enough to want to enjoy the prospect of sitting on my couch reading dense material for the rest of the day.

What's your test?

Well today I have History, which will be pretty damn easy..Seriously, and I know it sounds stupid, but I'm freaking out over my damn cooking class! We have to do this report and I'm stuck doing it cuz the people in my group can't speak English too well..(They asked me to join their group the second we got our final assignment! I couldn't be rude and say no!!) So now it's just the report and I can do it, but I just look at the blank document and start to panic.. But, as of 3:00 tomorrow, it will all be over and I'll be on the road to L.A. to see the Ellen Degeneres show!! Whooo!!And then Ima Robot in a few weeks!If I can find a babysitter..

Aww..thanks Nads! But I'm afraid I'll only be able to make one show..Insanely low on funds! And the show I'll be seeing is all ages, so I might just drag the kid along! Besides, I don't think I could afford your plane ticket from Texas..:D

Wow, your son gets in to them too? How funny. I use to take my nephew to shows when he was younger too. Now he's 21, and it's kind of funny going to a show with him and him buying you a jagermeister shot (legally) he would probably be a hobbit too

Well the only concert he's ever been to was the Backstreet Boys and he freaked at the beginning cuz they had these loud fireworks and we were in the 5th row..Oi..So, we have the earplugs all ready for him if I can't find someone to watch him..He'll have fun..I'll make sure of it!! :D

You had to suffer through the Backstreet Boys? I'm so sorry! "Backstreets Back..." I guess it's better than suffering through a "lip-synching" Brittney Spears concert.

Well, I guess my love for musical theatre productions puts me in that category too. But, I just can't get into the whole boy band thing......

My first concert was KISS, when I was 9 years old in 1979. It was the Dynasty tour. I guess I was a rocker from the start. I think my first crush was Donnie Osmond sadly enough. I use to dance around to his "Puppy Love" 45! From Donnie to Kiss, I don't know...

Well, I can only speak for myself when I say I am not kidding!! It's just fun music to sing to..:D My first concert was Redd Kross down in San Juan Capistrano with my sister..That was good stuff..Or was it Milli Vanilli? Crap..Or maybe it was Blind Melon..They opened for Lenny Kravitz and I loved them so my sister got us tickets!! no..That couldn't have been my first..Well, it was one of those above..

My mom goes to all the Ima Robot shows with me.....she loves them she took a day off from work to go see them. i told her that i bought tickets for the show @ the henry fonda and she got pissed because she thought i didn't get one for her what a weirdo

My mom likes the Std dance, she always dances when i play it ...:D

That's great that your Mom gets into the music you like. If I ever have kids I hope I'm cool like that. But at my rate I'll be 40 when I have my first. All the other kids will think I'm his/her Grandmom.
