So I went to a taping of the Ellen Degeneres show last week..Sad to say, we missed the last day of Christmas give-aways (a sweet-ass wall mounted cd player and a load of DVDs and cds!) by one freaking show!!! But, whatever..My love for Ellen is a bit too much considering I'm straight and all..Anywho, so we find out that Steve Martin is going to be the main guest..Whooo! Then we find out he taped his segment two weeks ago..Damn!! So, we're stuck with Jon Cryer..Oi..So he comes out and when the clapping dies down, my sister yells out "Duckie" and we both start hooting and hollering..Ellen brought that up later to him and he made some comment about how people don't realize that he's grown up and that was just a character he played..:duh: So, watch the Ellen Degeneres show on January 5 (you should watch it every damn day anyways, but be sure to watch it then!!) to see Duckie diss our little disruption.. Oh..And we got a game called Scene It? I heard it's cool, but just seeing the cute little Ellen was enough for us!! :D

I love "Pretty in Pink"! I always liked Duckies white creepers! He's still doing movies? He always reminded me of Matthew Broderick.

I'll try and watch that episode-Ellen makes me laugh too. I like her dry sense of humor! Sounds like you both had a great time.

Ha--who would have guessed you guys would be hecklers...I remember seeing Mark Price do standup comedy when I was, like, ten, and we kept yelling "Skippy!" (he was Skippy from Family Ties) at him, only to be met with an angry "Fuck off" during the act.

Were there a ton of people waiting to get in to the show? I remember when me and my friend went to see a taping of "Beyond" we could'nt even get in...Even though we got there like 2 hours early, they let all the people from outta state in first. Then the people ahead of us, so we were assed out... We did'nt even get in. o'well i think that show's sorta scary anyways... :yawn:

We had tickets to the show and we got there really early so that we were sure to get in..By early, I mean about 4 hours before the taping..:o We've put in for another show, too..Hopefully all of the guests will actually be there! Maybe Ima Robot will be the musical guest!! :D

Oh yay! We were so pissed cuz we were right across from those ugly lesbian chicks dancing at the very end and they would have shown us next if they hadn't run out of time! Dern it! I wish I had been there for the Steve Martin part..He was so funny..And Duckie was just plain boring!! Oh well..There's always next time..And, anyways, we did get some face time..About a second with the most unflattering view of my face going, "Whoooo"..Oh my..:o:D

Well, he's got that new show on CBS Monday nights with C****** S**** destined for cancelled-ville unfortunately.

I like to think my sister and I had a hand in getting him the hosting job of the People's Choice Awards or whatever..If we hadn't yelled out Duckie and cheered for him, people would think that nobody cared..But thanks to the Langworthy sisters, he's working his way back to the top! And Jon, we expect some compensation..:cool2:

No, just my own Narcissist views, but I actually watched it last week, and thought it was funny.

I heard it was funny too, and got picked up for another season. I haven't got the chance to check it out myself. Maybe next week When is it on?
