The reason mainstream pisses me off some is that some of the bands I like that go mainstream start sound more poppish or they are categorized as pop. Then you got all the posers who think they are hardcore cause they listen to them. Man, music changed so much. I remember the good old days when music was better than this MTV created junk. Joy Division, Smashing Pumpkins, Alice in Chains, Soundgarden, Salt, Nirvana, The Seattle Scene,........ALL BANDS THAT BROKE UP!!!!...... Why? Yay, I seeing the Bauhaus on Thanksgiving!!!!:D = cheese!

Yea I see where you are coming from, but that isn't they same with every band, and if you are listening to one album, and then all of a sudden that album becomes big and famous and in the "pop" scene, who gives a fuck, you like them! That's all that matters, who gives a shit if it's labels as pop, I mean, if it's punk rock to you then, well hell, isn't that supposed to mean not caring about labels and shit?
