if anyone's an expert at website kinda things then id appreciate some help: I get a 403 Error when I try t access the 'home' page on my site. It is setup exactly the same way as my other pages so far, but it doesn't work. Any ideas?

permissions...check the permissions.

thanks, but ive tried that already. That's what's baffleing me - the permissions are ok and everythings where it should be but it's simply not working.

Im gonna email my hosting company - ive been trying for hours to sort it out with no luck, now its their turn.

try accessing the files with your numeric IP address rather than the domain name (DNS). It could be an issue with the domain name not being resolved. I know that brought this site down for a couple days. I could still access the files, but you couldn't pull them up via imarobot.net

It would still need to be fixed by your hosting company, but may be one step closer to understanding what the heck is going on.
