I picked my son up from school and he told me he ran into a teatherball pole..i just laughed but when I finally looked at it when we got home, I saw that he has this HUGE lump on his forehead! He said he was running and his friends said to look at something and when he did..BAM! Right into the pole..Oi vey..He proves that he is my child over and over..:o

He's a tough kid though I remember doing the same thing except I was on a bike, and it was a car.

I used to get cuts and bruises all the time when I used to skateboard, and when I was younger I used to get cuts on my legs from riding bike around my neighborhood in Lima. Its part of the beautiful young years, I MISS THEM SO MUCH!!!

Oh man, I did that at a party about 10 years, and it was the biggest laugh of the party. Tried to go thru a patio door!

I went head first over the handle bars of my hot pink Huffy dirtbike when I was 7 or so. I hurt my knee, had a boo-boo and my Dad yelled at me for hurting myself...

Yeah, he is a great guy. He just doesn't like seeing his kids in any pain. My Mom is a girly girl, and they grew up in the 50's, so they are kinda like Ward and June Cleaver. Didn't like us saying curse words and such......Yeah, it's cool because my Mom & Dad have been together for 42 years! AND if you can believe it they're still very happy together which is rare these days. So, I'm lucky. But....the shit would hit the fan if I got a tattoo. It was bad enough when he saw my tongue and nose ring. It's (to him) not very lady-like. But it's so wierd because growing up they let me be my own person otherwise, like going out to concerts, clubs, dressing (skimpy) 80's style, and such...I guess they trusted me and figured I'd learn on my own about the bad things in life. I have a brother so, that takes care of the son deal.

I fell through a glass table. And my frined ran straight into a Glass Patio/French door, while it was shut! and broke his nose......And we are 18! Crazy stuff! It happens to the best of us....
