It came out about 4 years ago, maybe? It's been in my head for the past week and I used to listen to it all the time and now I don't have it and it's driving me nuts! Please help!!

I found the lyrics on space lyrics, but it doesn't say who did it..Am I searching wrong?

Just found out that the band is called Space. The song is called 'Female of the Species' and can be found on their album 'Spiders', released in 1997.
They are somewhere from Britain and had another hit some years ago ... cannot remember the name of that one right now.

Oh I remember that song. It was during a big wave of one-hit wonders on KROQ that year including that song "I could never be Your Woman" (by some dude), and "Scooby Snacks" by the Fun Loving Criminals. Man, memories. Can't believe that was 7 years ago.:wow:

They're a Scouse band that had quite a few biggish hits then just all of a sudden stopped selling records and for some unknown reason nobody liked them any more.. They're playing the Metro in London this Tuesday...
