So, I'm getting ready to go to a friends house after I drop my car off and my mother is SUPER paranoid about our house getting broken into and everything taken so she said she's locking me out of the house and I have the pound on the door until some one wakes up for them to let me in the house when I get home tonight. How Great is that. I get to be locked out of my own house and wait for some one to wake up to let me in.

Just a side note last time this happened I rang the door bell twice and pounded on the door for a min and no one let me in, no one woke up. I had to break in.


We live in the country, very rarely do you see any strangers.

So, I was wondering what every one else's pet peeves or paranoia's are?

when i stay out a quarter to three (beatles quote haha) my parents don't lock the door. haha. i'm serious. long story, but when i get back from my dates. it's like almost 3 half the time. my parents are cool with it. and the door's open when i get home. it's dangerous. but nothing's happened yet. :D


hmm. pet peeves. i'd have to say my biggest pet peeve is when i'm texting someone and they reply something like "oh" or "okay" or "lol". wtf man? what am i supposed to say to that. and then if i say nothing some people will be like you didn't text me back. and i'm like wtf was i supposed to say? lmao. ugh. people

I'm really peeved at these effing news sites that post the results of the Olympics before they've aired here on the West Coast!! I have tried to stay away but then my son went to check his fantasy football on ESPN and the home page had a huge picture of my future husband Phelps with the announcement of his newest Gold!!

Son of a..I thought it would be safe to go to MSN since I already knew about Phelps..Well, they had the effing results of the gymnastics on there! Curses!! Ahh well..I guess it cuts down on the anxiety..Goddamn how I love the Olympics!!!

when are the olympics gonna come back to the US?

as for the doors being locked, you have to lock your doors everywhere in Memphis. We have security cameras around our house. Now mind you I don't live in a very big nice house. I'd say it's lower middle class and we have this. Buuuut I have akey so it doesn't matter.

I would just like to make note that I was locked out again. This time I told my mom I was leaving and coming back and I was gone for about 5 mins I get home all the lights are off all the doors are locked and Sense it's warm tonight everybody has fans on so they couldn't hear me knocking or ringing the door bell. I didn't have my phone because I was going to be gone for such a short time and I didn't have a house key. I had to pound on my parents bathroom window until some one woke up to let me in.

Why don't they make you a key?

The front door is a different lock then the back door and I have a key to the back door but not when they deadbolt the back door.

and when we bought the house we never got a copy of the key that went to the front door.

Go on down to your local Home Depot and get a key made..It's just that simple!

Speaking of Peeves, I'm so super peeved that they're pushing back the next Harry Potter movie to next summer!!!

1)know what's playing on broadway
2)know that he's going to be naked
and 3) watch it.

My kid knows all 3 of those things..

Ok but sheltered children whose parents care if they see nudity before the age of 16. I mean really, it's one of those stupid "censorship" deals and I hate that. If you don't want to see harrpy potter naked, then don't look. No one is forcing you. And if your kid is curious about it, then hell, let them see it. They'll see it eventually.
