Short version:
Heath Ledger was producing Up From Below when he died, So they wrote a song about him. Sarbear i bet, could elaborate in extensive detail.

I was talking about Brother spesificly and Sara follows The Masses (http://www.wearethemasses.com/) closer than i do, and Heath was a part of that group.

Sara and I also talked to Alex on the buss in Chicago about Om Nashi Me and what it means to which Nora replied "oh really i didnt know that"

I wont talk about Om Nashi Me this moment im busy....

I'll cover both stories. Give me a bit. I do cover The Masses, and Om Nashi Me is my way of life, that's the reason I have it permanently on my body.

K. I'm sure I've stated this story some where on here before, but where I can't remember so I'll re-tell it.

The Masses: (Taken from their website)

Both Heath Ledger and Alex were/are (Although I dont know if Alex has done much work with them sense the passing of Ledger) a member of this group. Heath as a dirrector. (Dirrected: http://www.wearethemasses.com/directors/heath-ledger/ Some more were in progress, but never finished.) I believe this is where Alex and Heath first met. They bonded quickly and before we knew it Heath was going to be the producer of up from below.

Side Note: Heath Introduced Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros at the bob dylan cover concert back in 2007 when the release of the movie "I'm Not There" was taking place. Which Heath stared in. Which was about 2 months prior to his death.

Any Who...There was this brotherly bond between Heath and Alex, and I know at one point The Masses had a Tribute video up and it is no longer found, but it was the footage of Alex/Ed Sharpe at a beach bond fire in Mexico..(On their Mexican tour I'm assuming, one of the earliest tours) Which if I can remember correctly was one of the last times the two of them spent a good chunk of time together.

When Heath died, it hit Alex like no other. That is where the song Brother came from. (From my understanding and piecing things together.)

Om Nashi Me:

When Alex first came up with this, he wanted something that didn't mean anything in any language and was able to find Om Nashi Me, but as time passed he was able to find that it means "Oh Infinite Nakedness" in Sanskrit.

The meaning behind it, is more of an emotional feeling then any thing else. It's supposed to be this build up of negative, acceptance of negative, and then the release of negative. That is the easiest/shortest way I can explain it. If that doesn't make sense let me know and I can try to elaborate.

Yes. I forgot about that. It does also mean what ever you want it to mean. It's just weird that Alex and I had the same meaning for it. So that is why I define it the way I do, because that is my meaning.

Fuck..A family friend was diagnosed with cancer of the liver on Friday..He passed away today..My heart is breaking for his family..
