No, I don't beleive in violence. I confront people when they need to be confronted but I will do everything I can to not physically fight a
person, not because I am a wuss, but becuase I don't believe it solves anything.

Yea well, just because I don't beleive in violence doesn't mean that I don't believe in confrontations.

And, like I said, That doesn't mean that I am a wuss and I am not going to fight anyone. If I have to, I will. So far that would be a negative. I
just won't throw the first punch and I will do everything in my power to not have too.
This is the beat we live and die to.

You heard VERY wrong. Sure it's a lot different from their old albums, but it in no way sucks.

Yea it does not suck
With soem of the other Stripes cds, I only listen to them when I want to rock out. This new one, I feel like I'll listen to it more, it's
got more dimension to it.
My favorites are "Blue Orchid" and "Red Rain" and "The Nurse" and "My Doorbell" right now

I read in a review that The Doorbell sounded like a Jackson 5 song.

i heard a great interview with jack and meg on npr the other day and i think the reason meg's drumming prolly sounds so similar is that she was
never trained but jack liked her childlike approach to playing, or something like that. not that i dont like them... i want to pick it up even though
i hear it isnt their best work, i like the bluegrass influences on some of the tracks.

I like her drumming, everyone makes fun of it... but I find it really exciting. It works really well in the songs, and often rocks just as hard as
the guitar riffs. Like the ending of "Blue Orchid," that's some cool drumming. Maybe it's not all fancy but it works.
