When you download the songs (Rough Night & Ruthless) the track numbers when you add it to your player still say # of 12 maybe this promo copy is just a part of the whole thing. I know promo copies are usually the same as the real thing, it doesn't make much sense but who knows.

there was that monument to the masses promo w. only 3 songs on it, including the extended cool cool universe. Maybe this is liek that promo, considering its been in the works for years, theyve decided to A trick us and B release the majority of the songs at once.

That MTTM 3 track was clearly marked as a sampler not a promotional copy.

As far as I know, promo copies are the exact tracklist but without art. Like a CD-R in a slipcase with a sicker on the front.

well if were really lucky the intro will be somethng like the intro that the xx did for there first album, where it turned out being a very enjoyable song despite being only an intro. also is floats away an ima robot or edward sharpe song?

Speaking of Floats Away, I've been listening to it like crazy lately, so I really hope that they put it on a future album.
