i hadnt heard of IMA Robot till may, when they supported the von bondies.
they wanted me and my friend to take them out in amsterdam :D (and why am i showing off to people who meet them every week down the pub..)

I think the first time we went on here was to find out who Ima Robot were before we went to see them open for The White Stripes. Almost didn't go to that concert. So glad I did. So, I joined the board on another name sometime back in 2003 so I could download some of the videos and stuff. Um, I mainly looked at the News section. I never went in the Let's Talk Turkey part. Don't really know what inspired me to change names or post. I'm just spontaneous like that :D So that's my story.

i hadn't heard them until like sometime right before july when i found out who was oging to be at warped tour i was checking all the bands out to see who it was that i really wanted to see and i LOVED IMA so i was like DUDE i have to see them, it made me angry though because they put them on one of the smaller stages. . . . .

when i´d heard on the BBS Justin was in IMA Robot i thought they were some sort of funk band. and i recall when i heard the album the first time i didn´t like it the least and gave it a few listens out of sympathy. until ...bang, i loved it. strange.

yea same here, my sister made me listen to it in her car, i was all like "what is this crap, i don't like the singer" but now after i heard them again at warped tour i am like DUDE they are awesome I LOVE the singer, kinda strange

:o I've been on here since last October. I saw their video on FUSE and fell in love! The next week I bought the album and fell in love even more! Then I went to see them open up for Hot Hot Heat in DC! Yes, you guessed it! I totally loved those guys and got to meet and get photos with them last October! WOW! So, I checked out this forum, thanks to Drac for being on HHH's website and giving me info about the BOT! I had posted pics of me and the bot on their site...hahaha. I came here and never went back.....
