Back in the late 80's there was a song called "Revenge" by Ministry. I taped the video off of VH1 Classics, and I've always loved that song. But, my question is: This isn't the same Ministry as we know it today---the Industrial band. was it the first incarnation of a British pop band or what?

The song goes:

I only ask because I'm totally confused> I tried to get that song downloaded off of the computer, but noone recognizes this song as Ministry---only Ministry's Industrial stuff.

Isn't it the same band? I think they changed from synth-pop to speed metal. Talk about evolving! Anyway, With Sympathy from Ministry was released in 1983.

OMG thanks so much Phobiac!! I wasn't sure it was the same band because, wow what a difference. But yeah, it is on the "With Sympathy" album. Is it the same singer? He sure looked better in 83' if it is....wow, I can't believe it came out in 83'. Damn......Thanks Phobs~!

Ya know I remember in 10th grade somebody leaving a minstry cassette in my car, and I used to play it a lot, but the only song that really stuck out that I played mostly was "All Day". That song rocked serious. Glad Phobiac was able to come thru for ya Michelle.
