My ex in-laws are coming up to visit..I guess they're not in-laws..Whatever..My baby daddy's mom and gramma.. Luckily, they're coming up for Brody, so they'll take him off for a day or two and I'll get free meals here and there from them..:D They're a bit screwed in the head when it comes to a lot of things (lying about my baby daddy working, letting him live there, letting him drive their Viper even though his license was revoked because he wasn't paying child support, not respecting my role as parent)..Oi..I just hope I don't kill anyone by the end of the weekend..

Oh please..That kid will come home with so much useless crap..He'll be stoked..He's lucky he was raised by me because even though his grandmas spoil the crap out him, he is the most perfect kid..He has never had a fit about getting anything in a store..He'll even ask if he can look at the toys, but he'll never ask for one..He's so good..:saint::D

Yeah, I forgot about all the toys he'll probably come home with. That's so cool he's not spoiled...man I've seen some kids in the store freakin' out over not getting a toy/candy/whatever and it makes me not want kids for a long time...

my best friends daughters terrible, its like she turned rotten over night, shes barely gonna be 2 and shes spoiled hardcore. She only wears nikes, gap, tommy, and all this stuff that is way to expensive she grows outta of it over nite. Shes really snobby it's actually funny what a bad attitude she has at such a young age.

yeah..I'm stoked that he's never been one of those children..Her other grandson, who is around her all the damn time, is a complete brat..Ughh..

So my sister just said that we should go out since Brody will be taken care of..I think I'm such a homebody cuz I'd rather hang out at home alone when he's not here..I'm going to have to let her down gently..

2 of my little cousins have been ruined, they're spoiled, money hungry little shits.(:duh:i still love em' but i can't stand them. my aunt's ex-husband tries to "buy" them with MILLIONS of toys and i guess they don't understand thats what he's trying to do, so they expect the royal treatment from everyone.

Ok.. So they came last night and picked up my little man..He's really excited, so that's all that's important..BUT, Miss Gramma spilled the beans! She was telling me that Deadbeat's mom is getting a brand new Mercedes, one of the fastest out there apparently..Whatever...What else would a gold digger drive, eh? So then she starts talking about the wedding (deadbeat's mom is marrying this GROSS guy who has lots of money), and says I have to go and that Brody is going to be a ring bearer..:o I say WHAT?? And Deadbeat's mom tells Brody that she was going to talk to him about that..I didn't want to start something (she flies off the handle in any type of confrontation I have with her), so I let her go..But you're going to talk to my kid about being in a wedding?? That's something to talk to ME about! And seeing how Deadbeat Daddy is sure to be there, I don't want my son anywhere near the wedding! But then that punishes Brody cuz he loves her a lot and I"m sure she's talking the wedding up to him this whole weekend..Oh man..There is going to be a war..:o:o:o

Oh..And I guess I should say that I'm not going to let her get away with this..I will have a talk with her, but it's going to have to be when Brody's not around..

What do you guys think? I know she loves Brody and I've always been really fair about letting her have him overnight and stuff..I've had to punish her on occasion because she's gone against my wishes, and that pisses me off..His dad has told me that he want's nothing to do with him..That was a while ago and maybe he's matured, but he needs to talk to me about that, not his mom, right? He's so freaking scared of me..It's kinda sad..

I think every family has problems similar to these. It's awful that Brody has to go through that with your baby daddy.

Letting him be in the wedding should maybe be a choice Brody can make based upon your feelings (once you've had a talk with him about it)...he's old enough to decide. You don't want to tell him no becuase he may resent you for it.

Do you have to attend this wedding also? Deadbeats Mom should have discussed this with you first. She's having a ring bearer and she's already been married how many times??? If you have to go to the wedding because of Brody--just put up a front for his sake, you don't want to upset him or drive him to deadbeats family. He's unfortunately always going to want some type of relationship with the deadbeat baby daddy.....I think you should be honest with Brody and tell him what your feelings are about the situation.

No..That totally makes sense..I feel like I'm bragging about myself, but I've never talked bad about deadbeat in front of Brody..Even when Brody came crying to me because he was ignored by him when deadbeat mom tried to push them together..Oh man..That killed me..But Brody says he loves him and thinks that he works so much that he can't see him..Oi..

I know for a fact that I will not be at that wedding..Honestly, I doubt she wants me there anyways..But I can't see his dad..I've gotten over the whole break up thing (it's been over 6 years, I should hope so!), but I will never get over the things he has said about Brody and the complete disrespect he has shown us..Maybe if he steps up and wants to be a good dad, I'll be able to handle it..But at this point, he's scared to talk to me.. Makes no sense..I was so freaking lenient with him about paying child support, until he wouldn't so I got the courts involved..It's just a mess..
