Usually I don't remember my dreams when I wake up, probably because I partake in the ganja. But the past week I have been having very vivid dreams, about weird stuff, and remembering them when I wake up like they really happened.

Anyone have any ideas why this could be? There have been 2 insidences where a snake has bitten me...I looked that up on a dream site and it said that I'm being tempted by someone sexually, that I'm not suppose to be attracted to for one reason or another. That's kind of weird considering.....

Anybody have any weird dreams lately? And do you think they mean anything?

I've been reading alot of books lately on spirituality, and I wonder if that has some effect on my subconscience....anyone...anyone..??

Hey... I dreamt i got bit by a snake too erm twice.. Yeah two different insidences where i got bit by a snake that was it it's all coming back to me know.. i wonder what that means...

Yeah, i've had some really weird dreams lately, maybe it's all the Sci-Fi channel movies I've been watching lately.....ones with zombies, mutated spiders and pointy teeth vampires. Yes, that could be it.

I have this one recurring dream where Freddy Kruger (sp?) is chasing me around my old high school and I end up running into the cafeteria, which turned into my elementary school cafeteria, and I kept slipping on blood that was all over the floor..I've had it at least 5 times in my life..And it's always exactly the same..It's scary..

Hey, dont listen to those dream books, they are way too generalized, and they usually are just Westernly influenced. You should relate the dream more to what you attribute the snakes to in real life. Do they invoke fear, pleasure, intrigue, curiosity. Then you could actually decipher why the snakes bit you. It could mean that something has sparked your curiosity, if they intrigue you. or, if they invoke fear, something, maybe even subconscioully, at a level lower than your threshold, had made you nervous, or stressed...Try to figure out what the snakes mean to you specifically, and then you could decipher the dream

Lucid dreaming is very tricky. Some people can do it easily, and other people need external cues to even begin to realize they are actually dreaming. Some people used lights, and really really expensive machines to condition themselves to realize they are dreaming and therefore take control of the dream from there. There was a case of a woman that could have lucid dreams and they tested her in sleep lab, and she could control the dreams and have sexual outcomes in her dreams and also have orgasms, so I am trying to get there :D.

No, it's not Dyler....a person did appear in my dream the other night, and it was so real it freaked me out. I knew I was dreaming in my dream, and this person and I got some groovin' on--not sex entirely, but like this fascination with eachother---very weird. But this will never happen....and it really can't. But none the less it was an interesting release in my dream, and it was a cool feeling in my dream.

I think this may be why I've been dreaming weird things. I'm a Scorpio and we shed our skins quite a bit- rebirth and all. I think it's an intrigue I find in someone, don't want to persue, just fantasize about.

I think that people fantasize and love many people in their lifetimes, but don't necessarily put it forward. Some people may be married, bi-sexual, whatever. I don't think we were truly meant to only love one person only---but many. Life is an experience in itself, and you need to explore somewhat. I don't mean sexually, but spiritually. sorry if I'm sounding all weird and stuff, but as i get older my outlook has slightly changed.

well...i've had a TON of dreams about the strokes. and i had one about ima robot the day before the SF show. i only got to see them play "philosophofee" but it was SO amazing! they just sounded absolutely incredible (but hearing it at the actual show was better ) it was at this big outdoor venue, and it was PACKED with people...lotsa screaming girls, lol.

and ever since my senior year started, i've had a couple of freaky dreams that involve deformed babies i think i have a feeling what they symbolize, though...

yeah, the dream i remember the most went like this: i was at the santa cruz beach boardwalk with my friends. we were standing by the log ride, watching as people went down the drop. there was an empty log at the bottom of the dip, and a log full of people hit it as it got to the bottom. all of the people flew out and died and were floating in the water. but then i saw a baby on the edge of the floor/water, about to fall in. i ran to it. it had this really weird purplish/wrinkly skin (but not like a newborn). i bent down to pick it up, but it slipped out of my hands because of the skin. then, an old man with that same type of skin floated by face-down, he was dead. i couldn't move after that, and everything was just so overwhelming

since i had this dream towards the beginning of my senior year, i have a feeling that it means i was overwhelmed with everything (all the college applications, school, home life, friends, etc.).

...i'll take my band dreams anyday over these freaky dreams!

but a cool thing, dream-wise, for me is that if i fall asleep listening to music, i'll usually dream about the band. it's quite cool

That dream about the baby is scarey. I hate when I have dreams like that, and you're not sure what sparked it in your mind. When I was younger I use to be a horror movie buff, and I'd always have bad dreams about monsters chasing me, and I'd be hiding in a big old house with lots of little secret rooms and stairways....just like in the movies.

Now before I go to bed, and have been doing so for many years, I just think intensely about something I like, concentrate, close my eyes, and I usually dream about it. It usually works.
