I think someone posted on the .com message board about the Manchester gig, but they didn't really say much..Lomax, I expect a nice report when you go! When do you go again?

of course! I set up this topic so ppl would post reviews/comments if they went to the VBs show and thought ImaR were good, but clearly not. I'm scanning TVB forums as we speak, looking for good comments!

WOW! Ok, got much, stood outside listening to ImaR soundcheck, handed outr .NET STICKERS (!!!!!!!), went in, went MENTAL TO IMAR....

they played (in no order) Dynomite (someone asked for Dynomite immediately after they played it , much to the humour of alex,), STD Dance (people actually Clapped!!!) Alive, Dirty Life, A is For Action, 12=3, Here Come The Bombs, Lets Talk Turkey.

Suprisingly, no B lack Jettas.

Hopefully there be lots of posts ssaying...........

'i got this sticker from this big guy in a tweed jacket!',

but i doubt it, more like..............

'Thats not a robot, thats a car' (funny)

ImaR were by far the best band on the bill.

Kasabian are trying to be the copper temple clause too much, and that singer is tyring to hard to be Ian Brown.

Von BOndies flatter to decieve live. They just do what they gotta do, then fuck off. Unsupridingly, we left early. Allthough No THat Social is one of the best songs out this year.

After ImaR, i went for a pint, and saw Alex walking out, these 2 ppl followed him, and they started talking to him on the stairs.

I asked Alex about a tour of UK or whether it would just be London again, to which he replyed, 'It depends how the Album sells'.

He then told us about a gig they were playign that night((!!!!!!!!!)) at the Barfly. The ppl with us talking to Alex were down from Sheffiled (about a 3 hour drive) and were staying in London, so Alex asked if we wanted to come to gig. The 2 others said yes, as they were staying in Lolndon. But me & my bro had to get back to Oxford (2 Hour train journey) so couldnt go! Bitching! Fucking annoying!

I hope those ppl who went to the Barfly show had a great time! ImaR were on at 12.30 am apparently! I wish i could have been there! Oh well, u win some, u loose some...

Asked alex to sign my copy of NME (he signed it to 'Robert' when i'm Robin! oh well!) 'Thank You Fella, Alex' and said it sucks we couldnt come ect.

I told him i was handing out stickers for .Net, and seemed very excited about that!

Alex was so calm and nice and was really excited that there was ppl actually there to see them. He thought noone knew who they were, but we told him we were singing along to all the songs.

So, hopefully, if the album/single sells, we'll see ImaR back over in the next month or so. Hopefully.......

Keep a lookout for reviews from this one--the NME at the very least must have had someone there covering.
