The jury thinks Scott Peterson should get the death penalty..We'll see if the judge goes on their recommendation, though I'm sure he will..But lethal injection? That shit just pisses me off..If we're going to have the death penalty, make it really count!! shit..I'd love to go out like those scumbags..Most of us aren't so lucky..So, everyone, when you're ready to die, just go and do some really fucked up things..Then you get to die in a really peaceful way!!

They have serious mental problems if they are able to kill some one. They should be put in hospitals.

I might think about condoning the death penalty if statistics prove that in states that enforce the death penalty have less crime or murders take place. But it doesn't seem to help or make a differencein the crime rates. I think they should put the money they put into killing these criminals and maybe put it towards research to figure out why these people do these fucked up things or getting these people mental help. But those are just my thoughts. I'm sure many will disagree with them.

It doesn't affect crime rates but *has* resulted in the deaths of more than one innocent person. It's just a bad idea. I'm cool with the concepts of justice and punishment -- but I'm thinking that getting raped in prison every day for the rest of one's life is probably punishment enough.

I'm so torn on the whole issue..I feel like death is too easy a punishment, especially with how humane it is now..Then again, why should they get to live if they've done such horrible things to innocent people? Even though they're in jail, they get to work out, get fresh air, get fed, get to use drugs..It's bullshit..But, as you said Riff, there have been innocent people that have been put to death..I dont' know..
