Thank you for this information. My heart goes out to the victims, and it's all I can do to hold back the tears when I read the news reports or see the photos. So much death and destruction - it's overwhelming. I think giving to one of these organizations that is helping with the relief effort is a wonderful way to feel a little less helpless in the face of such a catastrophe and do some good.

I feel bad sitting in front of my TV in a bathrobe eating chocolate watching all those people die. Watching leaders of those countries beg for body bags. It makes me feel bad about myself, my country, etc ... like we're all rich b**tards or something.

Guess I'll donate some money and maybe that'll make me feel better. :S

Even if it doesn't make YOU feel better, it will make somebody feel better.

my sister already donated and i´ll do the same. all money is needed. weird how much Germany donated. esp. considered its size. An Austrian couple my boyfriend´s granny is befriended with is still among the missing .... the powers of nature scare me...
