To be honest, I'm not so stoked on this year's line-up..There are a few bands here and there that I'd love to see, but I don't think I'm willing to shell out $160 and deal with the heat for them.. I'm sure Beck will do another surprise appearance, but hopefully I'll be able to see him enough if he tours for Guero..

If Muse was on there, I'd go. I don't like the others bands enough.

I got the Dresden Dolls cd a couple days ago. It's pretty good. If you go to dresdendolls.com, you can download a song or two.

Bravery, faint, Bauhaus, new order, the Bravery...
I like a lot of the bands, so I won't list them all, but not enought to pay 80 bucks to see them, take off time from school/work and drive up there to sit in the sun with way too many people....

wow! a festival with bloc party, gang of four (!) and the faint (probably the best live band i've ever seen) and some other goodies.. not bad, not bad..

FYI--Conor Oberst has said that he will be taking The Faint on tour as his backing band to support the more electronic of Bright Eyes' two albums, I might actually have to go (not a big Oberst fan but I will suck it up for The Faint).

I thought I was the only one in the world who didn't like Conor Oberst. Thank you draconian, for making me not feel like an outcast in a world full of Bright Eyes fans.

He's cute, but his voice is annoying as all hell.

erm, some songs are good, others arent. can imagine his voice being annoying, havent really noticed it like that though

That's why I don't like them. I just can't get over his voice. It's hard to like a band when you hate the lead singer's voice. But, I guess he's pretty cute. In a lot of pictures though, I think he looks like a girl.

:yawn: saw the video for 'lua' or whatever a couple of days ago and just thought, oh my, never heard/seen anything that boring. just acoustic guitar-dling-dling - yawnnn.. i don't understand the bright eyes hype.
