i downloaded que onda guero and missing cause you all love beck so, but i honestly dont see whats the big commotion about! its listenable, sure, but (to me) in NO way comparable to the bots

You have to listen to way more than just those two songs to get what he's all about..A sampling from each record might help..

well i didnt know any songs but losers before then so i didnt even know what kind of music he made, therefor i downloaded the songs

but if you know where to find such a sampling, ill be happy to listen

Just get Odelay or Guero and turn it up and have a good time and you'll see why we're fans.

agreed, "guero" is definately not a Beck album to start with ...if you wanna get into him, listen to the discography chronically ...

I thought he said at the begining, "I co-stepped to you" which means like walking up to a girl to talk to her knowing you look good and that she wants you. You should have bought the deluxe version..

got the deluxe yesterday. but now i wonder which CDR i´ve been sent like 6 weeks ago .....it doesn´t have "broken drum" nor "farewell ride" on it or the remixes .....BUT "Chain reaction", "send a message to her" and the rest of the "normal" album. weird. wasn´t the leaked stuff though.....and i noticed he played "farewell ride" at an Oxford gig a couple of years ago...been reading the credits and wee, "e-pro" was co-written by the beastie boys. btw. half of the tracks on "guero" were co-written by someone else....
