Thanks guys! Hopefully it'll make it out to you, Jette..The've only done 2 seasons and are threatening to cancel it because of low ratings, even though it's won a couple of Emmy Awards..It's seriously one of the smartest shows on television..Ahh..I love it..:D

It is the best comedy on tv(thats not on cable). Why would anyone want to watch the american office or joey instead of AD.

I actually think The Office is really funny..Not funnier than AD, but Steve Carell is awesome..:D

The office is crap. Not one thing is funny about it. Its dummed down regurgitated comedy for the American audience, it’s what nbs, cbs or any other major network does best, make crap. I compare the American office to me and my friends reading a Monty Python script in my basement and having it end up on national tv. The acting is horrible, the writing, well, it was exactly the same as the UK version, except parts were taken out so it doesn’t offend people (from what I‘ve seen). It will do well because most North Americans haven’t seen the original office or didn’t get it and found it boring. Leave it to an American network to ruin something yet again.

Yeah..They have an American version which I think is pretty damn funny..I don't think it's humor that everyone would like, though..There's a LOT of uncomfortable silence..

I've actually watched both the American and British versions and find them both funny. The only episode that was the same was the first one I think. Plus, the guy who wrote and starred in the British version wrote some of the episodes of the American version. And how can one not love Steve Carell from The Daily Show?

I am pretty sure Stephen Merchant and Ricky Gervais only wrote the first episode. I’ve seen many interviews where they said they have no ties to it other than being the creators. Steve Carell is alright. He tries too much and isn’t that funny.
