Brody's first "real" pet, a beautiful white Hamster named Rocky, died this morning..A small service will be held in her memory at my sister's house later today..

Awww..We finally laid her to rest nestled in a really pretty shell with a little blanket covering her and some food just in case the dead little critter gets hungry..:duh: And we planted a really pretty hydrangea on top of her..I hope I get that kind of treatment when I kick the bucket..:duh:

Losing your first pet is so hard, i remember when my first cat got ran over i cried for days.

Yep. When I was 20, my dog of 16 years had to be put to sleep. It was the saddest day. I had her ever sense I was 4 years old. We were going to let her die naturally but she was in so much pain due to a leg diease she got when she was about 13. She was the sweetest, smartest dog we had. R.I.P Muffy.
