A verdict has come in for the Michael Jackson case!! Looks like I'll be watching the news for the rest of the day..:D:D

I know! Crazy stuff! I wonder how much he'll get away with..It's such a shame..I used to really love him..Now he disgusts me..But, so does the accuser's family..They could have really screwed themselves over with their past..

Ya, the case was nothing special. It just involved someone mega-famous. And now we'll get to hear bad jokes about it for the next 5-10 years. Woo hoo!

Yea. And it's worse for me, I'm going to be a lawyer soon... so for the next 5-10 years I'm going to have explain to everyone how and why he got off because I'm sure I'll be asked about it a lot...

Well? Why and how did that sicko get off?? Well, I guess we all know how he gets off.. But why would they let him go? Was it because the mom was such a nutjob?

It doesn't suprise me at all. I think he's pretty sick. But I guess people can get away with anything nowadays if they got the cash.

Wow. Not guilty. Wow.

I didn't follow the case close enough to know for sure why he got off, or the elements of the charges or whatever.

But one thing I thought I heard or read somewhere is that there just wasn't enough physical evidence. It was mainly just witness reports, nothing concrete. It's tough to win a criminal case with just that, it's easy to raise suspicion of the reports.

Especially when the defendant is super-rich and famous.

And even more especially when the Mom was a nutjob. She didn't help the case one bit.

There just seems to have been a little doubt there that he did these things he was charged with, and that's all that's necessary to be found not guilty. The state has to prove these things with a pretty high degree of certainty, which can be tough, for sure, and may be unfair sometimes, but that's the way it is. It's fair though; you don't want to be sending someone off as a criminal without a pretty good degree of certainty.

I know you all are as tired as me of hearing the Jackson case, but glad it is OVER FINALLY!!!!
