Why hasn't anyone posted about this?? I just rolled in and am going on a total of about 7 hours of sleep for the past 2 days so this is going to be short and sweet, kinda like the show!! So there was a mix-up for the passes, but I think everyone from here got in..Lucky for me I saw Alex and Timmy before the show and they kicked me down with a bracelet so I wouldn't have to deal with the list and all..Spoke with Justin who was his usual ever-so-nice self..It was great seeing my .net peeps again..Val looked beautiful as always..Marvin was as hip as ever..And Kyle smelled really good..

Aaaanyways..On to the show..Secured my place in the front, though it was only us .net crew that was holding it down..I guess everyone else was busy drinking and trying to act cool to bother..Meh..They played one new song called Stick To The Man..At least that's how it's written on the set-list..I'm assuming it's Stick IT To The Man, but what do I know? Alex almost paralyzed some douche who came up on stage and was trying to be cool..Alex pushed the guy after a while and he went tumbling off the stage and landed on his head..Alex kept on singing STD Dance..It was rad..:D The guys were awesome, as usual, and put on a tight show in a short amount of time..Ended with Black Jettas, which was different..They usually like to end with Here Come The Bombs..It was nice that we got a song when I thought it was over..Then they came out during Z-Trip's boring-as-shit DJ set and played Party All The Time..They all seemed to be having a blast..It was so great seeing them live again..

A special shout-out to my woman Paula for informing us of the fun stuff with Z-Trip and also for just being an awesome individual..I hope the kids in the hotel didn't keep you up too late..

And a HUGE shout-out to my leading ladies Juno and Evil..It was so rad meeting you guys..Though you weren't able to get in, your spirit was there..I felt it..Or maybe it was that drunk chick that I felt..Either way, you were missed very much..

The new song was crazy..Definitely one that people will chant out loud..It started off with Timmy doing a sweet riff of The Star Spangled Banner..:duh:

hooray! this is so exciting! i wonder when we're gonna hear about the name of the album and stuff.. and if they're still going to do the artwork contest.. it feels like it's getting pretty close

well ummm the soundcheck was neat... and so was meeting poobs! yay! and also talking to justin and timmy and paula and susan. nice/neat people. and all i have to say now is fuck san diego and i hope i never have to go back there.

Thanks. It was a bummer we didn't get in, but it was really cool meeting you and talking to you on the phone because I called you like 5 million times. And it was also cool to meet Turtle, even though we only got to talk for like 3.8 seconds. And of course it was nice (as always) to talk to the band. I didn't see Alex or Alina though... so that kind of sucked. And all I have to say is Justin is probably the nicest mofo on this planet. We decided that his fro is filled with kindness. Plus he's just so damn cool. So, in the end even though we didn't get in.... it was still a fun adventure. Plus, we got to hit up Amoeba the next day and buy about $60 worth of music each. Music therapy. It works.

p.s. I'm also not as bummed because we actually saw them perform Stick It To The Man at the Duran Duran show. However, it would have been cool to see it again seeing as it's fuckin kickass.
