I made a stencil of my favorite font. Cut that out. which took a really long time because I didn't want to mess up on it and have to start over. Then i used this one weird silk screen spray stuff that was really bad and every spray it would get blocked and I'd have to clear it out with a needle and then spray for another 1/2 a second and then clear it out again, it was a pain in the butt. Then I outlined each letter with white puff paint. so it kind of has texture look to it but it doesn't really have a lot of texture to it except for the puff paint. (there's my secret to making shirts.)

seems hard and frustrating

This shirt was. It didn't turn out the exact way in my mind that I wanted. But it still turned out pretty nice.

It's a lovely shirt, but I feel really dirty looking at it, because of, well, boobs. Anyway if you like making clothing, you should consider purchasing an actual silk screen. They're very nice.

I tried ghetto screen printing and it was a disaster

i need to buy one of those kits.

I did not mean for this to be BOOBs on the thread. It's was just me and my shirt. So you shouldn't feel dirty. I'd like to, it's just a matter of money and I may not do it enough to make it worth the money.

on a completely different note it looks as if i have gangrene on my arms because of the weird shadow.

Ok, I don't really feel that dirty. It was more from reading some of the other replies too. :D And yeah, they can be expensive, even for like, cheap ones. I was fortunate wnough to find one at a thrift store. But I've never seen one since. Still, if you're into that it might be worth it to try. Or, if not, they're fairly cheap from here.

Regardless, It's an awesome shirt, and is designed very well, I'd love to see anything else you make/have made.

Thank You. Um....I haven't really deisgned much as far as the edward sharpe and the ima robot but I have done a few other shirts with slogans like:

art makes us human. (one printed, I own it)
Paint the Town red, paint bucket shirt. (only made one and Justy owns it)
I made a bird design that was actually screen printed onto to shirts that were sold in the art department at my high school that seem to be very popular this year. (MANY printed, the high school students are aloud to buy and order them in any color as long as the bird is red or white.)

Do you have a picture of the bird? I'd like to see it. It's cool that your school promotes arts like that.

You just have to remember that you can get the shirts in any color you want as long as the bird is white or red.

I own a grey one with a white bird and a white one with a red bird and a red sweatshirt with a white bird.
