All right, who in the L.A. area is up for it? Seacaptain will be in town for the next couple of weeks, conveniently skipping out two days before the Amoeba show, but how about getting the crew together before then for a night of quiet debauchery and Ima Robot trivia?

I'm thinking Saturday August 2 if that works out for everyone. And who has suggestions for a dinner spot? Anyone have an in at the Friar's Club? Haven't you met Ted Danson at film school yet, Riff?

How did I miss this post. Unfortunately I won't be available til afternoon. I have plans until 3. Wish I could be there, but I'm a lil Zankou'd out. You guys should spruce it up a lil like the Newsroom, or Al Gelato on Robertson. Just a reco. Maybe if I scramble I can catch the tail end of the meet.

Maybe a reminder about this should be posted on the splash page.

Zankou will do well for this time around, but we really do need to find a place that has some kind of vaguely robotic decor.

I'll put it on the front page right now. You're right, next year maybe we could meet at Encounter at LAX or something. It has same "Superman's Ice Palace" aura about it that the Dynomite video has.
