I've gotten a big kick out of Beck's recent journal entries too. It used to be just tour stories, but now it's weird poems, 80s
flashbacks, and strange photos. Cool.

If JMJ hadn't mentioned a couple of shows on that board, I wouldn't have heard of them.

WHAT??!!! That's all the Beck you have? Oh, to have the opportunity to listen to all his stuff with fresh ears as you do. A lot of people on
this board will agree that you would do well to pick up Midnight Vultures, Sea Change, Mutations, whatever you can find, really.
Seacap, those journal articles are trippy, I like them a lot more than the pure fact detailing that was part of the tour journal...

I really enjoyed the tour stories myself. It was a fun way to follow the tour along. Though now he's not touring, I especially look forward to
these new types of entries.
Beck has such a cool way with words, that's what I like. I mean, in one entry, he used the word "bedraggled." Excellent!
Yea I'd have never have heard of the Bot without the Beck board either. Been a JMJ and Joey fan since the Odelay tour.

I think they're two totally different animals. But both share in common the tendency towards taking the more creative, unconventional, approach
when given the opportunity.

Not yet. I am having withdrawal symptoms. Just itching to add to Tim Reed's presumed end of 2003 poll!

Yeah I hate to be a "Jimmy Kimmel", but if it weren't for me seeing Beck at the Santa Fe docks back in 96, I wouldn't have
recognized, and met Justin at Stereolab in 97, therefore becoming the big fan that I am.
